Steepo 2012

A great day for all as weeks and weeks of preparation finally culminated in the running of the annual Steepo. In the Junior Boys' race, Eddie Davis (16 min 07 secs) continued his all conquering form smashing all comers in attaining 1st place while Chris Holman (16 min 25 secs) came in 2nd to complete the Mertens double. A fine effort boys.

In the Senior Boys' race, Alex Summerfield (16 min 01 secs) led the Mertens challenge finishing 8th while our Leader on the day, Laurence Haines (19 min 06 secs) finished a creditable 22nd.

Congratulations to all those who trained hard and ran with determination, your efforts did not go unnoticed. Next year we go one better!!

Oktoberfest 2012

Another fantastic effort and example of us learning about and appreciating the cultural diversity in the house. Vielen Dank to Dan, Moritz, Freddie, Konstantin and Jonas.  Germany should be proud!

L6 Dining-In

Last night saw the final Lower Sixth dinner - all designed, crafted and enjoyed by the boys and house staff. As with last year, the standard of food was excellent and all the boys have commented on what a positive experience preparing the meal was. It is a great way for the boys to get to know each other in a relaxed environment and for, myself, Mr Tester, Mrs Curran and our tutors to engage with the boys.
