House Singing 2014!!
After many hours of blood, sweat and tears along with Tester's rants, Coker's brilliance and Lovat's rhythm the Mertens lads gave an awesome performance at House Singing and can be justifiably proud of what they've achieved!! Well done also to Ollie Clarke-McCullagh, James Ritchie, Boyan, Bimbo, Tireni and Pat Jacobs for their starring roles...and last but not least the outstanding Raph and Paul at the front. Well done lads...!!

Chinese New Year 2014 - The Year of the Horse
Last night Mertens House and the rest of the Ardingly boarding community celebrated Chinese New Year. Many of our boys from Hong Kong organised and coordinated the whole event from start to finish. It was a brilliant evening with huge amounts of snacks, fried rice, dim sum and noodles as well as games and puzzles created by the boys' themselves. The firework finale was ridiculously loud and spectacular and a great way to finish the night. Special thanks to Ansen, Earnest, Jason for their leadership; Anthony for his sublime culinary skills, Jacky for his exquisite artwork and last but not least, William, Alan and Wilson for the fireworks and the decorations!! Well done boys!!
