Fencers in National Championships.....2014
Congratulations to Ollie Clarke-McCullagh (76th out of 111), Maxwell Pierce (51st out of 153) and Pat O'Brien (43rd out of 82) for their outstanding performances at the National Independent Schools Fencing Championships. The event witnessed the largest number of entrants as well as the best ever set of results by Ardingly College. It was a gruelling 3 days at Crystal Palace with over 1400 competitors entered across 18 different categories. While they did not come home with any medals or silverware, the sheer effort, concentration and improvement by so many of the fencers and especially the three mentioned above is enough to make us as a community very proud.
